My spring bucket list
A Seasonal Refresh: My Spring Intentions for a Brighter Life
With daylight saving time behind us, the extra evening light makes it feel even more official—spring is truly here. It’s the perfect season to shake off the winter heaviness and infuse my days with a little more joy, beauty, and intention.
This year, I want to welcome the season with small but meaningful shifts—things that elevate my everyday life, spark creativity, and make me feel refreshed from the inside out.
Here’s my list of spring things I want to do to embrace the new season fully:
1. ☀️ Have a Picnic
Once the weather warms up, I want to pack a simple picnic—fresh fruit, charcuterie, something sweet—and head to a park with family or friends. This has always been my “go-to” activity for hang outs with friends when we wanna do something low key or something other than eating at a restaurant.
2. 🌸 Bring Fresh Flowers Into My Home
A simple way to brighten any space is with fresh flowers. I want to make a habit of picking up a bouquet every week, letting peonies, tulips, or whatever else is seasonal bring life into my home. Aligned with what I mentioned in my “Ready Reset Go” post, my space affects my mood. So flowers will bring the perfect put together vibe.
3. 🖼️ Visit a Museum
There’s so much inspiration to be found in art, history, and culture. I want to carve out time to visit a museum or an exhibit I’ve never been to before—something to get my mind turning and my creativity flowing. IDK why, museum just is giving spring activity to me for some reason lol
4. 🌿 Find a New Signature Scent
I love how a perfume can define a season in your memory. This spring, I want to explore new fragrances—something fresh, floral, or citrusy—that makes me feel renewed every time I put it on. I’m also thinking of trying out a hair perfume maybe?
5. 💄 Update My Skincare & Makeup Routine
Warmer weather means lighter, glowier products. I’ve had the same makeup routine for a year now so I think it’s time for something new—a pretty blush and a new lip product. And of course, a skincare refresh—hydrating but lightweight products.
6. 📖 Start a New Book Outdoors
There’s something so peaceful about reading outside, whether it's on the picnics I plan to do or just in the backyard while Baby C naps in the stroller. Some books that have been lingering on my TBR include: Say You’ll Remember me by Abby Jimenez, Wild Side by Elsie Silver, and rest of the Windy City Series by Liz Tomforde. Oh and of course finishing up the Fourth Wing Series (currently on Iron Flame!)
7. 👗 Refresh My Wardrobe with a Few Thoughtful Pieces
Instead of impulse shopping, I want to focus on a few intentional wardrobe additions—a soft linen dress, comfortable yet chic sandals, or a perfect everyday tote for warmer days. Honestly the attempt at a capsule wardrobe saga continues as well as decluttering my current closet… lol
8. 📵 Spend More Time Unplugged
This spring, I want to be more present. Whether it's an afternoon walk without my phone, an evening journaling instead of watching TV, or just allowing myself to sit in stillness, I want to create space to soak in the season without distractions. Now that we approach Baby C’s 1st birthday (omg) I want to cherish all of the moments.
Spring always feels like a fresh start, a gentle invitation to live a little lighter and more beautifully. It’s the calm before the storm that is summer (for me, it’s hectic). Here’s to embracing the season in ways that feel good—small joys, little luxuries, and moments that make life feel just a little more elevated.
What’s on your spring bucket list?

I love the “this could be me” photo (meanwhile I’m in pajama drab)
Love the museum idea! I'm trying to plan a trip to the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos.
